My most memorable experience as a Scholar
Spring Break trip to NYC: visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art and seeing artifacts from ancient Greece & Rome -- realizing that I was looking at jewelry, coins, and sculptures that were touched by people who lived over 2,000 years ago! I also enjoyed visiting the MoMa and seeing artwork by Picasso and Vincent van Gough.

I am currently working on linguistics research at MSU under the guidance of Dr. Wendy Herd. We are studying the speech variability and patterns of Mississippi speakers.
