Anthony Sean Neal earned his Doctorate in Humanities from Clark Atlanta University in 2012. He completed his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College and also earned a master’s degree from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology. Previously, he has published a number of articles and an earlier book entitled, Common Ground (Africa World Press, 2015). His most recent book is entitled, Howard Thurman’s Philosophical Mysticism: Love Against Fragmentation (Lexington 2019).
