Following the Summer Institute, Scholars successfully completing the summer intensive are invited to reconnect and present at the five-day fall Boston Conference in the Boston, Massachusetts region in partnership with our partner institutions.

This conference provides an opportunity for students to share updates on their projects, receive continuing feedback, reflect on lessons learned from the program, and discuss how those lessons might be applied to solving other problems.

The Scholars engage with Harvard and Brandeis students and faculty working on Delta issues. This collaborative effort includes Harvard Law students engaged in the Mississippi Delta Project a student practice organization at Harvard Law School that provides policy and legal services to clients in the Mississippi, with a focus on the Mississippi Delta region.

The goal of this intellectual exchange is to provide both sides with fresh perspectives, promote dialogue that can push their work forward, and foster networks of young leaders that might collaborate in the future.

Dates for the Boston Conference will be set by the application due date.
