Submit Your Presentation

Submission Instructions

Students are invited to submit poster presentations, oral presentations, and performance/demonstrations in one of the following categories:

  • Arts and Humanities (Poster, Oral Presentation, or Performance/Demonstration)
  • Biological Sciences and Engineering (Poster only)
  • Physical Sciences and Engineering (Poster only)
  • Social Sciences (Poster only)

It will be up to you and your faculty mentor to properly classify the project. The Shackouls Honors College has the right to reclassify your project as we see fit. If a student’s project is reclassified, the student will be notified by the Shackouls Honors College.

Submission instructions: On the Symposium submission form, you will be asked to provide complete information and upload all files for your project. This will include information about you and your co-authors, your presentation information (such as title and abstract), and your presentation files/media.

Any files that are submitted (such as your poster or presentation slides) need to be in PDF format and under 10MB. If you would like to upload a video with the poster presentation option or for an oral presentation, the video must be shared on the Symposium form as a YouTube link. Any software, including Zoom, Quicktime, or your phone/computer camera can be used to record your video. However, after recording, you must upload the video to YouTube. We recommend that the YouTube videos should be set as ‘unlisted’ once they are uploaded so that they don’t appear in any public search (i.e. they are only accessible through the unique unlisted link YouTube provides you). Here are instructions on how to do that.

Only the presenting author will receive a confirmation email after s/he successfully submits a project.  This email will be from Symposium by ForagerOne.  We recommend you forward that email to your faculty mentor and co-authors to keep them informed about your research submission.

Contact Dr. Anastasia Elder at or Mrs. Alice Chandler at with any submission questions or call the Honors College main office at 662-325-2522.
